Steve Winch

Steve Winch serves as the Regional Manager for WeldenField in Atlanta, primarily comprised of active adult developments under the brand name of the Orchards Group. Steve’s responsibilities include coordinating site acquisition, site and product planning, construction, sales and marketing, and customer relations functions for all properties. In addition to the Orchards, Steve has also been involved in the development of 4 multifamily developments in Orlando through our joint ventures with Tavistock at Lake Nona. Mr. Winch joined the Orchards Group after developing a number of master planned, mixed-use golf course communities in Atlanta, Georgia and South Florida for Terrabrook and Radnor Corporation. He holds a B.A. In Economics from Emory University and is a past or current member of the Urban Land Institute, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Gregg has been with The Orchards Group since 1998 and is one of two original members of The Orchards Group still working on our team. Originally from Rome, Georgia, Gregg brings a wealth of knowledge and sensitivity to our market niche. He lives in East Cobb with his wife Rita who is also involved in the Residential Real Estate field. They have two grown daughters and enjoy being active grandparents. His interests span all sports, but particularly Golf and Tennis.

Mitch, originally born in Philadelphia and raised in New York City, started his Real Estate career in Denver, Colorado in 1981. Mitch has also lived in Montreal, where he attended McGill University, and in Boston. He and his wife Debbie have been married for over 30 years and have two daughters. Mitch has been with the Orchards Group since 2005. Mitch’s outside interests include travelling, classical music, movies, bicycling and craft beers.

Joey was born in North Dakota, but has been living in Georgia for over thirty years. He, along with Gregg McGregor is one of the original members of the Orchards Group team here in Atlanta, and has been personally involved with almost every homeowner since we started building here in 1997. Joey and his wife Mary have been married over 20 years and have four sons. Joey enjoys camping and playing golf.

Jeff has been building with The Orchards Group since 2004. Originally from Illinois, Jeff was raised in Norcross, Georgia. While working on his Commercial Construction Management degree from Gwinnett Technical College he worked as a carpenter. He loves to water ski at the lake and is a serious Georgia Bulldog” tailgater. Jeff’s attention to detail is a major focal point of his daily construction regimen. He and his wife Brandi have two sons with whom Jeff spends a tremendous amount of time.

When not at work, you may see Craig under a mound of safety gear. One of his favorite activities (and has been for years) is playing Ice Hockey; after all he is from New Hampshire. Craig has enjoyed a very successful 20+ year career in Real Estate, and tries to maximize his family time with his wife and 2 sons. Craig and his family currently reside in Roswell. He is a Graduate of The University of New Hampshire with an undergraduate degree in Engineering and also holds a Master in Business Administration.

Dawn originally hails from “north of the border”, specifically Calgary, Alberta. She and her husband Mike moved to Atlanta in 2000 (and are just now starting to fully thaw out). They have two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Chloe. Dawn started with The Orchards Group in 2003 after having worked for another Master Planned Community developer in Atlanta. She also worked in the Agriculture industry back home in Canada. Dawn enjoys golf, relaxing by the pool with her family and traveling back to Calgary to be with family and friends.

Deborah and her husband Fred lived in Michigan before moving to the “warmer” climate of Atlanta in 1988. She started her career as an educator and administrator, but caught the Real Estate bug in 1986. After working in general Real Estate for a few years, Deborah turned her attention to New Homes in 1995 and has been extremely successful ever since. She has been with The Orchards Group since 2005. She and Fred have two grown children, both residing here in Atlanta. And yes, they are both in Real Estate. Her interests include good music, long walks and spending time with her two young grandsons.

Phillip is a native of Georgia and has been married for nearly 20 years. His primary focus at The Orchards Group is to coordinate and implement the development of the site work. Whether it is streets, building layouts or landscape, Phillip brings plentiful experience to this vital element in the creation of our communities. He and his wife have 2 children, Jake and Daniel and live in the Northwestern section of Metro Atlanta near Jasper. He has over 15 years land development experience.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Palmetto, Georgia, Tina has been with The Orchards Group since 2006. Married for over 20 years with two children, Tina and her family now reside in Alpharetta. Her main outside interests include hiking, bowling, reading novels, watching college football and basketball games with her family, and doing arts and crafts projects. She is a graduate of Branell College and has been involved in most every aspect of the accounting profession in her 20 + year career.

Andrew was born and raised in Peachtree Corners, GA. After graduating from Norcross High School, he attended Gwinnett Technical College and received a degree in Construction Management. Andrew joined the Orchards Group in early 2014. His love for construction began when he helped his grandfather with building projects and members of their church benefited when their home projects were completed. Andrew has worked in the construction industry for over 13 years, overseeing residential and commercial building projects.
